We met Yvonne through a friend’s recommendation when we were looking for a vacation home to buy in the Competa area.
Being from the United States, the home buying process is a bit different than we were used to, so it took a lot of education. Yvonne was availability at all hours of the day, she never seemed to stop working for us. Her knowledge and experience about the area and buying process is very extensive. She doesn’t push you toward anything you are not comfortable with but listens and directs you to exactly what you are looking for.
We ultimately found a beautiful house in the Competa region and it’s mainly thanks to Yvonne. She was the perfect realtor for us in finding our dream house, Casa Sueno. She will remain a friend, and we will wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a house in the region. Thanks Yvonne!

We met Yvonne when purchasing our beautiful cortijo in the hills between Cómpeta and Torrox. Yvonne was the selling agent, but she also supported us with advice and assistance regarding all aspects of buying our home. Two months ago, we received the keys to our dream house, and we can still turn to Yvonne with all our questions. She recommended several local craftsmen who have helped us make our cortijo even more beautiful. Each one of them is outstanding, just like Yvonne herself. Yvonne is available for her clients 24/7, always responds very quickly, and nothing is too much trouble for her. Additionally, she has an extensive network, a wealth of experience, and extensive knowledge of the area and all the properties for sale there. And last but (definitely) not least: she is simply a very warm and wonderful person! We are very happy that Yvonne came into our lives, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone! Our house hunt with Yvonne was a party! Yvonne asks the right questions during the introduction to get a good idea of your wishes and requirements regarding a house. She then makes an excellent assessment of whether a house you have seen on the internet, for example, meets your wishes.
Yvonne points out the positive aspects of a house, but is also clear about any drawbacks or points of attention. Very nice, so you know what to take into account. A nice bonus is that you can communicate in your own language. Especially during the negotiations and official matters at the notary, this was very pleasant. Because she herself has lived in Andalusia for many years and has many years of experience in this field, your search for a Spanish home is in very good hands with Yvonne!

Buying a house in Spain is definitely not a piece of cake. Not only do the laws and regulations in Spain differ from the Dutch principle, the search is also more complicated. There is a lot on offer and structurally not every house is in good condition or even legally built. But how do you find the house of your dreams? Yvonne gave us excellent advice and guidance in this respect. She really takes care of everything from A to Z also when we asked even more questions. Her knowledge, keeping appointments, accessibility and professionalism led us without problems and with a lot of confidence to our gem under the Spanish sun.

Er was nooit iets waar Yvonne ons niet mee kon helpen, of we nu een quad wilden kopen, een verzekering nodig hadden of een speciale vakman, ze wist altijd wel iets te regelen.

On the recommendation of friends, we came into contact with Yvonne and together with her we started looking for a house to turn into a B&B. That was quite a challenge, because we didn't want a big renovation project. In the beginning, we had to test what we liked and what we absolutely did not want. But partly due to her professionalism and patience (with us), we ended up with a house in Archez after visiting several houses. Every time it was a treat to go out with her. Nothing was too much for her, it felt familiar and she gave us the space to discover for ourselves what the possibilities were, giving the necessary tips. Not only did she guide us through the purchase of Villa Archez but she also helped us obtain a NIE number, a bank account and she accompanied us to the notary, among other things. For years we have been coming to Competa and staying in a house owned by friends. In May 2022 we spoke to Yvonne for the first time and then looked at a number of houses. She listened carefully during the conversation and knew exactly what our wishes were. This was evident in the summer of 2022 when we went back with Yvonne to look at houses. When we saw the house we have now bought we fell silent. The view is phenomenal and exceeded our expectations. The house is now being modernised and adapted to our wishes. The lawyer proposed by Yvonne was extremely pleasant and a big plus was that the secretary was Dutch-speaking. Also when looking for a suitable contractor to carry out the renovation, Yvonne helped us excellently. If there is anything now we need, we still contact Yvonne. Nothing is too much for her!

We got to know Yvonne about 9 years ago when we bought our first house in Competa/Spain.
She showed us a lot of possibilities for two days and with her cheerful nature made us even more enthusiastic
which eventually led to buying a house. We bought a holiday home!

After 6 years, we wanted a house we could live in permanently and Yvonne found that for us as well.
The sale of our first house was also in excellent hands with her. Now we have a dream house where we will soon be living.
